Read about your sacrifice in the book, "Ambush Valley." The men in his squad called him "Scotty."
Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush

Remembering Alex
I am a very old and, I hope, was a dear friend of Alex. We went to school together and also both worked in Dewrance in Dumbarton - Alex in the Drawing Office and me in the Typing pool. I'll never forget Alex and the times we spent in each other's company. Such a lovely soul. God Bless you Alex. From:- Susan (formerly McCulloch.)
