Remembering Alex

I am a very old and, I hope, was a dear friend of Alex. We went to school together and also both worked in Dewrance in Dumbarton - Alex in the Drawing Office and me in the Typing pool. I'll never forget Alex and the times we spent in each other's company. Such a lovely soul. God Bless you Alex. From:- Susan (formerly McCulloch.)

Army cadets Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders

Alex prior to emigrating to the US was a sergeant in the army cadets in Renton Drill Hall in Scotland. The cabinet in his family home in Dumbarton was full of shields and medals he earned in various endeavours. His death in Vietnam was a tragedy of what would have been a life of great potential. It maybe 50 years but he is well remembered by cadets like me.

THANK YOU

Dear Sgt Alexander Chisholm,
Thank you for your service as a Motor Vehicle Operator. Thanksgiving is coming. This is the month that we remember all those who have passed-on. We remember you. It is so important for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
