To the Family of

I wore his bracelet in the early 1970's. Got it from the viva(?) Organization. Nice to finally put a face to the name. God Bless him for his sacrifice. And his family as well.

In Remembrance

We found Capt Cartwright’s MIA bracelet in my sister Beverly’s things after she passed away in January 2020. She wore the bracelet she had gotten in high school faithfully. She spoke about Capt Cartwright often and always prayed for him. Maybe she has finally gotten to meet him in the wild blue yonder. Thank you Capt Cartwright for your sacrifice. God bless America!

Always on my mind

I, like others, wore the bracelet with his name I received while I was in elementary school in Queens NY. Other than being MIA, I couldn't find any information about CAPT Cartwright but thought about him often. If I recall correctly, some my classmates received stars to affix to their POW bracelets once they were freed and returned to the United States...I never received one and only after many years did I find out why. Thank you CAPT Cartwright for your service and for your sacrifice. I'll always remember you.
