Dear PFC Jack Smaso, Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Winter will end soon, and Lent has begun. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I was so saddened many years ago when I heard of Jack’s passing . We grew up together in New York. I think of him often

Jack and I went to elementary, jr high, and sleep away camp together. He was there when I broke my leg. I was so sad to here of his passing. Stephen Leventhal

I was shocked to learn that Jack was killed in Vietnam. He was my high school classmate and a

really nice guy. He was funny, loved chess, baseball and bowling. Rest In Peace dear Jack
