From Tweety Bird's Brother
Dear Smaso,
My brother served with you and was with you on that last day. L Co. 3/5 remembers you. And PFC Mead Delroy Dickerson talked about you all of the time. He never forgot you or that day. He too has passed on.

NEVER FORGOTTEN
FOREVER REMEMBERED
Slip off that pack. Set it down by the crooked trail. Drop your steel pot alongside. Shed those magazine-ladened bandoliers away from your sweat-soaked shirt. Lay that silent weapon down and step out of the heat. Feel the soothing cool breeze right down to your soul....and rest forever in the shade of our love, brother.

Not forgotten
Jack, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend and thank you for protecting our freedoms.

Respectul Student
My name is Martin Arnabal and I am a student at Lehigh University. In my English class we are studying the controversy over the Vietnam Wall and how it affected America. Thrughout our studies we have seen how the veterans were treated throughout this entire ordeal. I share the same birthday as this man who died when he was only eighteen. When I think of the sacrifice these men made for their country I can only feel respect and admiration. On behalf of a grateful nation I say thank you to all the men who went to fight and gave their lives for their country. We will never forget your sacrifice.
