I am Toni. I was dating Dale when he got drafted and he chose to be a Marine. He loved you dearly. We broke up about a month before he deployed. He was funny and always Happy. I ate many Sunday Dinners at your house. He sent me a Christmas Card which my Mom opened. She wrote him back to tell him I had married somebody else. That was Xmas of 66. He died in Jan 67. My Mom blamed herself that she told him and caused him to lose focus. She took that to her grave in 2003. I tried to tell her she wasn't at fault. Nam was a nightmare from Hell for anyone who was there.

I've often wondered what really happened and who was w him. I wonder often how you are. So sorry to hear about your Mom. Hope you've had a good life. My baby sister is about your age and she and Dale loved eachother. Did u know his nickname"Alka" as in Capone. I'm so sorry we lost him. He was a great man. We dated my Junior n Senior years in Duncanville. My live to you.
