Thank You

For Doc, Thank you for your post. I did not know the exact information about Dale's death until my Mother passed away. I don't know how he kept it from my Mother. He gave the details to me after her death. My father knew the loss for my Mother was great enough, without the horrid details. Thank You for being there. Sandra

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Marvin Dale Bennett, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

To those who served with Dale...

My name is Dave B. I live in East Texas and am married to Dale's niece, who never knew Dale. My mother-in-law (Dale's little sister) was 7 years younger than Dale. She said goodbye to him when she was 10 years old, he boarded a plane to head off to boot camp, and she never spoke with him again. Obviously, he didn't come home alive. Dale's sister, Sandra, is looking to speak with anyone who served with Dale for any insight into him as a person, soldier and friend. If anyone would like to share any stories with her, please email me. She would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you to all who have served this country. God bless.
