I never met Bill, but................
I never met Bill, but I married his sister 30 years ago and I have seen the love that she and her parents share for their brother and son. Knowing the family and the memories they have shared about Bill, he was a person who loved his family, his country and life itself. I never met you Bill, but take comfort in the fact that you will always be remembered and loved.

A Final Goodbye
I cry as I say goodbye for the final time today this July 03, 2000. I will always miss you Bill.
Bill and I were good friends and skied together often. We spent many hours together. I especially remember our trip across country to Ft Louis, Washington. We had a day lay-over and loved our time there after just coming off 30-day leave.
I especially remember Bill's dedication and duty because I out-ranked him by about 10 days and had my choice of his assignment or mine as a Team Leader in Company D. I survived but the guilt never leaves me. There but for fortune...
Goodbye my friend and love always!

A loss beyond words....
William Henry Morris, Jr. - Bill.... a good friend who loved making figure 8's in the snow-filled fields on his motorcycle; a great man who loved his wife & children; an even greater loss for the world who will miss his many talents & for him "just being" himself. You are missed, you are always loved.
