Still thinking of you and what might have been
It's been over 50 years since we last got together and over 55 since we planned and took our road trip to Florida with Jim M. and Tom K. What fun.

Army Infantry OCS Class 69-27
I remember Bernie was in the 1st Platoon of our training company, our barracks were next to the battalion headquarters with the jump towers about a block away. Our Tac Officer was 1LT Joel Chase.
We both became MACV Mobile Advisor Team officers, and arrived in Vietnam in 1970. Although our paths did not cross once we graduated. I remember shedding tears when I saw his name listed as KIA on our weekly intelligence sheet. He was a lot of fun in OCS, and I still miss him and his Massachusetts accent.

Mr. Lovett
I remember and think of you. Though I did not have you as a teacher, I talked with you and respected you. We, students at Greenfield High School, lost a special person when you left to serve our country, but we all thought we would see you again. You probably would not remember me, but I will always remember you. God Bless you and keep you safe in heaven. Thank you for your service and your ultimate sacrifice for our country. Faith E. Rockwood, Class of 1973, Greenfield High School, Greenfield, MA
