My "Home boy"

Dave and I served in Vietnam together with the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles Charlie Company 1st of the 506th Infantry. We talked often. Our connection was Syracuse, NY. I worked there and Dave went to Syracuse University. We made a pact that we would meet at Danzer's for a beer and sandwich when we got back to the world. I found out Dave was KIA when I returned to Vietnam from emergency leave. When I got home, I went to Danzer's and had a sandwich and beer in his honor. I called and gave my condolences to his Mom on that day.
Currahee and RIP my friend, Jerry Lazore

Thank You

Dear Cpl David Finger,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Labor Day just passed, and we remember you all. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
