GROWING UP TOGETHER
GREG, WE GREW UP ACROSS THE STREET FROM EACH OTHER IN TULSA. I REMEMBER THE TIMES WE HAD TOGETHER AT BISHOP KELLEY HIGH. I THINK ABOUT THE OLD TIMES A LOT. RIP BROTHER. WE WILL MEET AGAIN SOME DAY IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE.

I SERVED WITH CPL. GREG ARTHUR
GREG WAS THE CHIEF S-2 SCOUT FOR 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines (2/4) during my tour of duty beginning October 1967. He directed my first assignment with Hotel Company and likewise directed assignment of all battalion scouts. It was a night movement out of Mai Xa Chanh West when Greg was struck by AK-47 fire and died in the field. I have often visited his engraved name at Viet Nam Memorial. My belated condolences to family.
