Thank you
Fighting in a war tells a lot about a person, although I don't know you, I know that you were very brave.

I MISS YOU GREG !! Your little sister
Dear Greg,
I miss you more than you could ever imagine. I was only 9 1/2 when you were killed, mom & dad thought I was too young to view you in the coffin - so I never accepted your death until years later, when the TV was doing 'news flashes' of MIA's, etc. coming off the planes. I watched intently & you never came off ... :(
To those who may read this, I had 4 older brothers & I was the youngest. Greg was the 2nd to the oldest, and definately the "best of the litter". He was the ONLY one of my brothers that "wanted me" :) Instead of being really mean, like the others - he LOVED having a little sister & always treated me like I was the most special person in his life! And only ONCE raised his voice to me - long, funny story :)
He VOLUNTEERED for the Marine Corp. AND volunteered for Active Duty.
Mom & I had been out shopping for fabric to make a banner to go across the front of the house, welcoming Greg home, the day the 'green car' came by.
The effects of Viet Nam are sooooo much more than what some people think ... a few months after Greg was killed, mom developed cancer - the Dr.'s said it was due to "severe trauma" ... after 6 years of major surgeries & chemo & cobalt - she died (I was 15) - my dad developed heart disease & had his first open-heart surgery in 1972. There were many times we visited mom AND dad at the hospital, as they were both there at the same time.
I named my son, Kenneth, after you, Greg. And he looks very much like you - he is 27 now ... and worships your memory :)
It is soooo hard to believe that I lived so much longer than you & that my son is older than you were.
I will try to post some pics later - I just wanted to post this, as I just found the site.
If anyone out there finds this & knew my brother - PLEASE contact me at the e-mail listed.
I love you & miss you Greg!!
Your little sister "Teedy" (but you always called me "Blondie")
