For the Crocker Family
I have watched the Ken Burns documentary about Vietnam a few times over the years and it still moves me. The pain and sorrow after all those years were still evident in the Crockers...And the dignity and grace they displayed is an inspiration to all. God Bless the Crocker family and the thousands of other American families that lost a son or daughter in the Vietnam War.

WOW
The pain on his mother's face, after so many years have passed was so sad to see. That was the most memorable moment of the documentary. No parent should have to experience that.

Dear Mogie’s family
Your beloved Mogie’s story moves me in a way I find hard to express. His ability to articulate his thoughts through writing was absolutely astounding, and his legacy, in my view anyway, is that duty and honor must be tempered by an accounting of the human cost of war. He documented his philosophical and spiritual journeys so well that this 42 year old man in the year 2022 finds himself dumbstruck by the depth of his wisdom. Your Mogie was an honorable man, and his story will now have a part in shaping how I see today’s world. I am so sorry you had to sacrifice, but it was not in vain. Bless you all.
