A note for Dennis Keith Andersons family

Our sons went on a trip to Washington DC this week with World Classrooms. Their tour guide had them read his story and they found his name on the wall and traced it. If any family member would like to have this etching the ND/MN kids did I have it and would be willing to pass it on.

Not Forgotten Standing Tall

Capt. Anderson you are not forgotten. For us you are always standing tall. My mom's husband, was once a platoon leader of yours. Your unwavering courage, unyielding commitment and ultimate sacrifice is never forgotten. God bless

do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will never truly die....

Always Remembered

Almost 52 years now! I will always remember you for your constant diligence and professionalism. But above all.....your men's safety was the most important factor of the mission. I hope to see you on the other side.
