I was in high school with Bobby
I cannot tell you how may times over the years that I have thought of you. I remember one day in our homeroom in high school where you looked over at me and smiled. I will always remember that handsome smile. I remember that you wore a sweater and a shirt that day. I have searched the internet to learned how you died and have prayed that you were among friends and not alone. What is on the internet is not very informative or satisfyingly just to know. Perhaps the how does not matter, because you are gone and I miss you. Someday, perhaps we will meet again.
Your friend always,
Wally Morrison

honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your sister Connie is poignant and reflects the anguish experienced by so many who lost loved ones in this war. May you rest in eternal peace.

Oneonta Friend
I am so happy to have found this site. I went to college with Bob. We dated a few times. He was so sweet and kind. I remember being in The Royal ( if you went to SUCO, you know.) with him and a guy pushed me. Bob came to my defense - ever the gentleman hero. I still think of him and his sacrifice. He was one of the good ones.

My brave cousin
Bobby is my cousin a nd I think off him often as he is a real American hero. He comes from a class family. Some of my best memories were visiting my Aunt Nellie and Uncle Victor cousin Connie and Cusin victor. They were all class people who I’m proud to call family.
