HAPPY MEMORIES
I too am a second cousin of Howard's. I never knew his name was Ray till I saw it here. I was a young girl when he died, but will always remember how much fun he was to be with. We live in Pittsburgh and would go to Meadville many times to stay with his family on visits. We were all so proud of him.

Comrade lost but NEVER forgotten.
Raymond Chase was a member of my flight school class WORWAC 67-13 "Green Hats." We got our wings on 29 Aug 67 and were on our way to Vietnam. I heard about Ray being killed shortly after it happened. His was the first KIA I knew about from our flight school class. I can still remember his smile and easy-going manner. I have visited The Wall four times and make it a pilgrimage each time to find Ray's name. I will never forget him.
