Dear Stephen,
I am a student from Gridley High School located in Gridley, IL. We are posting remembrances for a class project and to honor those that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
I am writing you to commend you for the great service that you gave to your country. Through your sacrifice, the United States lost one of its brave fighters. You are not a replaceable person. You are unique and you had your own story, your own loves, and your own family. My greatest gratitude goes to you, whom was willing to give up your uniqueness for the betterment of all mankind.
