Dear Stephen,
I am a student from Gridley High School located in Gridley, IL. We are posting remembrances for a class project and to honor those that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
I am writing you to commend you for the great service that you gave to your country. Through your sacrifice, the United States lost one of its brave fighters. You are not a replaceable person. You are unique and you had your own story, your own loves, and your own family. My greatest gratitude goes to you, whom was willing to give up your uniqueness for the betterment of all mankind. Thank you.

I go to Gridley High School in Gridley, IL and I am posting remembrances for a class. Your bravery and loyalty are immeasurable! We enjoy so many liberties in this land that we take for granted. Thank you for your willingness to preserve this great nation!
