Thank you.
Brave Soldier, as part of the Gridley High School Posting Project in Gridley, Illinois I would like to recognize the supreme sacrifice that you made for this country. Even though I never knew you, your dedication will undoubtedly give me courage in the years to come to face whatever comes my way. You will never be forgotten.

My dearest brother Raul. Although I was very young while you were in Vietnam, I always knew that you were very courageous. I remember your red car and your beautiful green eyes. You are truly our hero and are always in our hearts and in our souls - Nancy, Gilbert, Koke, Ricky, Hector, Andy, Sammy, Reggie, Martha, Dad and Mom. We honor you always. Love, Nancy

I feel everyone here needs some acknowledgement of their ultimate sacrifice for our country. You died much too young. You had a life that deserved many more years. There are people left behind who loved you and who, I imagine still feel the pain of your loss to this day. I hope they have comfort in knowing you are at rest and that they will someday see you again in a much better place.
Your courage and efforts in Vietnam will never be forgotten in my heart and in a multitude of others who have the upmost respect and honor for the soldiers who lost their lives there.
in Peace always

El Paso's Best
I never knew you, but I'm from El Paso, too. I saw that you had no remembrance, and had to remedy that! I just wanted you and those who love you to know that your sacrifice hasn't gone unnoticed. Dios te tenga en paz, Raul, y le pido que descansas en su luz perpetua y brillante.
