Michael
I have never forgottan about you-
The last time I ever saw you is when we both went to the induction center together back in '69. Two very young guys wet behind the ears. You sat next to me and we talked about what branch of the military we would be going into. And that's when it happen, almost instantly I was inducted into the Marine Corp. right before our eyes. I remember you turned to me and said, "you know Ric if you go into the Marines you go directly to Nam, at least in the Army you have a fithty percent chance of going to Germany". We had many memories in our youth but the only one I have kept in my heart, was that moment when we sat together in that induction center. Micheal, I just wanted you to know how much I honor your memory and appreciate what you did to allow me and my family the freedom that we have today, brother. Something else, my second son has your middle name and was born on the day you gave your life for this country. His name is Andrew and he was born on November the 9th. Thanks,

My Friend
Michael (Buster) was a hell of a guy, we grew up together playing baseball in Pacoima at Paxton Park. He went to San Fernando High School and was very popular, He was in the New Movement which was a Car Club that helped the communities poor. Michael would do anything for his freinds, and was one you could depend on, He was raised in a good home with wonderful parents. We miss you Mike, but know that your in a better place now, and we will see you again.
