Not forgotten!
I arrived in Vietnam January 1968 to 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines, Hotel Company. I knew your story from the Marines that were with you. I never in all these last 55 years forgotten your story. I pray that in heaven God has eased the pain of your suffering. You and those like are the true American heroes. May God bless you.

Never forgetting
I wore Fred’s MIA bracelet for years not knowing he grew up in the town next to mine. When Fred was found I contacted his family. I met his mom in her house. Mrs. Burns was beyond grateful. I attended the wake and funeral. The brotherhood and honor shown by the Marines and Vietnam Veterans was beyond belief. I felt like one of them that day. I will hold Fred’s memory, Fred’s family, The Marines and the Vietnam Veterans in my heart and soul forever. Paul Lawless
