I have never met you but i wish i could. Your service to our country will forever be remembered. I will always appreciate you for what you have done for this country, it would not be the same it is today. I am thankful for his sacrafice for his country. I will never forget you or your family, you and your family have been forever honored. Thank you.

In remembrance of John Abbott, born August 20, 1927, in Burlington, Vermont. He enlisted in the Navy on August 8, 1945 and released for active duty in September 1946. He fought in WWII, the Cold War, and the Korean War prior to the Vietnam War. On April 20, 1966 he was taken prisoner of war and seven days later he died in captivity. He was a wonderful captain with exceptional performance and an outstanding devotion to his duty. His remains are buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Thank you for fighting for our country. You will always be in our hearts.
