EO3 Dennis W. Allen was an Equipment Operator serving with Public Works, Naval Support Activity Da Nang, U.S. Naval Forces Vietnam. On July 10, 1968, EO3 Allen was fatally injured while he was on duty at 14 Gia Long (Taxi Pool) at the Da Nang Complex when a sentry accidently shot him while clearing his weapon.
