Remebering a Classmate and Friend.

I was proud to chaperon your Mother to your name on the Wall when we lived in Virginia. Your sister provided her the transportation to come to Washington, D.C. one year just to visit and see your name on the Wall. She and your aunt Gloria will never forget that summer. All of your classmates have missed you at our class reunions, but your Mother and Sister have always represented you. Rest in peace my friend and Thank You for Your Service.

Remembering a Friend

This classmate of mine gave his life for his nation. He was honored in our worship service Memorial Day 2014. "Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends."

Remembering An American Hero

Dear EO3 Dennis Wayne Allen, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
