Marine Sgt. Lawrence Ziegler, 31, formerly of 21 N. Ann st., Lancaster (PA).
Sgt. Ziegler, a career Marine, was shot while on patrol near Quang Tri May 14. The son of Mrs. Genevieve A. Lutz, he also left a wife, Maureen, and three children. They had recently moved to San Clemente, Calif.
Sgt. Ziegler attended Lancaster Catholic High School and had worked for the Hamilton Watch Co., before joining the Marines in 1954. He went to Vietnam last July.
