honoring you.....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The many remembrances from those who wear/wore your MIA bracelet are touching and reflect their admiration and respect for you. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home after the passage of so many years.

Never forget
I would like to let the family of Lt Col L W Whitfield know that after all of these years, I think of your family member often and will never forget him. I was 10 years old in 1970 when I received my POW bracelet in Dallas, Texas. The bracelet, after eventually breaking, certainly did it’s job of remembrance. Although young, I have carried his name in my heart for over 50 years. God bless you and your family.

Thank You
Dear Col Lawrence Whitford, Thank you for your service as a Jet Fighter Pilot. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 4th Day of Christmas, Merry Christmas. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance, and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.

Still thinking of you
I got my POW/MIA bracelet when I was in High School. It really brought home to me that the war was being fought by real men, our fathers, brothers, etc. . It meant so much more than watching the news. I fell close to Lt. Col. L. W. Whitford Jr. although our paths never crossed. God willing, I will be honored to meet him in heaven. I am going to visit The Wall in Washington as a sponsor for my Dad's "Honor Flight". I will visit Lt. Col. Whitford Jr.'s name on the wall with a prayer and extreme gratitude. God Bless.
