To a Fine gentleman and sportsman
I remember Henry Luke playing golf at Belle Haven Country club in Alexandria, Virginia, in the late 50s and early 60s. Those were carefree summers and I was much younger than Henry Luke. His mother was a friend of my mother. I saw him as a terrific player of the game and a kind person. I played with him once and he couldn't have been nicer to a young girl who had a crush on him. I think of him and think he would have made a fine person if he had lived.
