SEEKING THOSE WHO KNEW HIM
A NEW BOOK IN THE MAKING - THEY DESERVE TO BE KNOWN I am Vietnam Era veteran (Navy). Since 2013 I have been collecting records and searching for family or service buddies who knew this individual for a special book. The book will have the stories of about forty-plus Marines, soldiers and airmen [and one nurse] who lost their lives in Vietnam, and some who survived. Though the book will center around the lives of many youths from high schools in Toledo, Ohio, there are others in this work from California, Missouri, Michigan, Rhode Island and elsewhere. Together these stories tell the Vietnam story in a personal way whereby the reader will come TO KNOW these heroes, not just as the soldiers they became, but the youths they were. These stories are not necessarily a collection of remembrances, but my journey to KNOW them, so that you also can know them. If you have any personal information about this individual, who is part of this work, please contact me. Cowboy [email protected]

honoring you......
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 75 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.
