Dear PO3C Archie Wabschall, Thank you for your service as a Commissaryman 3rd Class. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today we celebrate Columbus Day. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

We were close as a brother could be. We grew up together and shared life. I have been to the memorial and put my hand to your name with a tear in my eye. your friend and brother Ben

I went to school with your nephew Archie. We have been friends for almost 40 years now. He looks a lot like you. He served his country in the Army during the gulf war. Service runs in the family.

Thank you for your service. You and your family attended the same church as my family, the EMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH in Hood River. I remember you as a very nice young man. RIP Archie.
