I was a freshman and you were a Senior at Hood River High School you asked me to a school play - I wasn't allowed to date until I turned 16. My mom still feels bad to this day that she didn't let me go with you. I have not forgotten what a sweet a kind young man you were and the ultimate sacrafice you made for all of us.

Archie is buried at Willamette Nat Cem.

Hello my name is Drew Bunting and I am this remembrance as part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. Dear sir I would like to say that even though your sacrifice was not in defense of this country, I still have the highest amount respect for you and your cause.

I write this for the Gridley High School posting project. I live in Gridley, Illinois and I am a senior at Gridley High. I just wanted to thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. You gave up your life, so our country would be a better place. Thank You! You will always be remembered.
