My Uncle Jerry
I was 8 or 9 when my Dad married my Step Mom in 1967. I only got to see Uncle Jerry a few times before he went to Viet Nam. I remember him pushing me high in the tire swing at Grandma's.

Brother to Brother
I was with Jerry when he was struck and when he died. I held Jerry in highest esteem of all my fellow soldiers and I will never be half the man he was already at that young age. What a special soul God called to home that horrid day. I will never ever ever forget.
It's heartening to read the tributes here.... they all ring so true don't they? Jerry was someone special and we all knew that.
See you again Jerry..... Thank you for being my friend.
Frank A. in Wisconsin.

Not Forgotten
Jerry and I grew up in the Foster, Missouri community, and attended school together. He was the nicest guy, and an excellent athlete in football, basketball, and track at Rich Hill High School. I sometimes visit his grave in Foster as do many others, I am sure. You have not been forgotten, Jerry.

Remembered
DEAR SPEC 4 BOYLES,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. IT IS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.
