33 Years ago tomorrow you are still not forgotten!

Alan, I recently purchased an MIA bracelet and it has special meaning to me as I, too, was born in Illinois and grew up in Illinois. I intend to educate others by wearing your bracelet. Although not the same year March 28th has special meaning not only to myself but my parents. My mother went into labor on March 28th and delivered my stillborn brother on March 29th. I went into labor on March 28th and delivered a healthy boy born on March 29th. There are so many websites that should be told to perhaps allow your family and friends opportunities to hear from others about yourself and what your sacrifice means to us! Checkout [email protected] (202) 393-0090, www.miafacts.org/bracelets.htm, www.vietvet.org/thewall/b.html, www.pownetwork.org/tletter5.htm,www.vietvet.org/tapsgal.htm,grunt.space.swri.edu/statewall/ariz/AZ_Page3.htm,etc. Know that you are not forgotten! Rebecca born and raised in Illinois, too!

Sgt. Alan Boyer

I was given his bracelet around 1970 while living on base in TX. I have kept it hoping someday to return it to him. While visiting the wall in DC I looked and found his name and was very sad to see it. I made a rubbing of it and now keep it with the bracelet. I thank him for the sacrifice he made for our country.

Still Remembered 2

I still have Alan's MIA bracelet and keep it where I see it often. Every March, I wear the bracelet in his honor and in honor of his family's tremendous sacrifice.

Still remembered

I was givin a bracelet in the 70's when I was in school with his name and date he was reporting missing. I have always been curious of his background and repectful of his bravery to defend our country. He was very young when he was reported missing. His name has been noticed while I wore it for many years and I could only surmise what had happened to him. I am very happy my questions could be answered.
