THE WALL OF FACES

Sir,



We never met. We didn't go fishing, throw a baseball, or share a memory. Nevertheless, I am compelled to write these words.



Your children lost their father when they were very young. They were forced into adulthood by a war that so many have now forgotten. It was by your example, both in life and death, that they have grown into honest, courageous, and loving adults worthy of respect.



Thank you, sir, for your sacrifice. Thank you for the freedom, opportunity, and liberties that we take for granted everyday. Thank you for allowing us to live in a country where we can laugh, love, and prosper.



I love you, Grandpa.

Although we never met you are one of five from our little home town that made the ultimate sacrifice.You gave your life for your country before I Went in 1967 I still consider you my brother,and now that I know where you are laid to rest,I will visit you often with a new flag.

Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Eugene Edward Stout, for your courageous and valiant service, many years of faithfully contributing, and your most holy sacrifice given to this great country of ours!

Your Spirit is alive--and strong, therefore Marine, you shall never be forgotten, nor has your death been in vain!

Again, thank you MSGT Stout, for a job well done!
