We joined the Corps together on the Buddy plan, had a lot of fun before enlisting.
I think of you often & the plans we had for when our enlistments were over. I also miss your Mom & Dad, it's been a long time & always wonder how we would have enjoyed life, had you not been taken from us. I will never forget you Dave.

Dear PFC David John Scharibone, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

with your birthday just passing you are in my thoughts I think of you often and wonder what life would have been like to have you with us I was only 3 when you left us and still miss you more than words can say know I am taking care of mommy and I know you are with daddy and your nephew Vincent Crary Jr give them a hug from me until we meet in heaven I am and always will be your loving baby sister
