Never will forget your sacrifice
Michael and I were school chums. We both played in the band. If I remember correctly, he played trombone. We lost touch and I had no idea he was in Viet Nam the same time I was. Many years later I read of his death in the newspaper. The Wall in DC is a very special place for me. Seeing Michaels name on the wall was overwelming. I have his name rubbing from the Wall, which I will always keep. Michael was a kind gentle soul, who did not deserve to die in that war. I think of my Viet Nam experience and those who also served often. Of all the medals given out, the one that really counts is the CIB, Combat Infantry Badge. To all that served especially Michael......I salute you. John Manza
