Squadronmate and a Friend

I flew A-37B's with Mike in the 8th SOS, a great pilot and a good guy. He was shot down at An Loc trying to keep the NVA from overrunning the town and it's defenders. Three aircraft were lost there that few days, Mike's A-37, a USAF 0-2, and a VNAF A-1. The NVA did not take the town! You are not forgotten....

Do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
