THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

I am often reminded of your sacrifice, committed through your character of duty, honor and bravery. The bracelet I wore in the 70's is again on my wrist where it serves as a reminder of your valor. Thank you James.

I just received his bracelet today. I won't take it off for 450 days, the duration of his known days of captivity. Then will be put in a glass case and on my mantle.
Thank you James for your ultimate sacrifice.

Dear Ssgt James Ray, Thank you for your service as an Intelligence Analyst. You were a POW, and still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 57th anniversary of Gulf of Tonkin Incident is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.

I wore my James Michael Ray POW bracelet for five years. I never took it off in that time. I prayed for his return and I still think of him today. My bracelet sits in my living room for all to remember his sacrifice and his families loss. God bless James and his family.
