Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Raymond Bernard Ralls, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Family

Hello uncle raymond, this is your neice netta russells daughter.I rember a picture of you in your navy blues, swinging from a moon. In grandmoms living room by the wall directly by the front door. I visited You. Name at pens landing often. On the wall and dad told me many stories. I was so impressed I wanted to inlist but dad told that's no place for any human being let alone a woman. And I understood but you we're. Always thaught about by me. I hated the way your life was cut so short. Times are very diffrent. But the thing that stayed constant was the loss of lives and the demise of familys. Daddy was correct. That was. Was no place for me. Any way. Dad had seven children and three step children I'm one of the steps. He raised me since eight months till his death. And he was loved. Uncle lenny had four children and one step. Aunt vonnie had one child and aunt lil has two. There are over fourty neices and nephews. And a host of family and friend's. Anyway. We love you uncle. And I will always carry your memory in my heart. Love you and God's. Peace. Be always at Your. Finge
