Went to Nam in my place.
Don took my place in the call-up. So I could get my wife packed up and sent home. I was to follow Don in 2 wks and meet up. My call-up didn't come for 3 mo.and by that time he was KIA. He was a good friend of both me and my wife. We named our 1st child Heather Dawn McKillip in his honor.
