Remembering An American Hero
Dear CPL Alfred Mauro Quiroz, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

memory
Fred was a special friend. I could always talk to him. He was friendly to everyone and never knew anyone that didn't like him.
He always made me laugh and I'm so glad that I got to see him off at the bus depot with his girlfriend, Joyce and his friend. It was a sad day when I learned of his death, but I'll remember him as a good friend and the young man that he was. You have been missed.
