Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your brother Dale is moving and reflects his admiration and respect for you. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home after the passage of so many years.

The “Friends of Rocky Versace” remember one of Morgan Donahue's USAFA 1967 classmates and fellow MIAs, Major * Dennis Gerard Pugh, on what would’ve been his 78th birthday - 10 February 2022.
* Promoted while in MIA status from 1st Lt to Capt. and then to Major along with his USAFA Classmates.

Dear Maj. Dennis Pugh, Thank you for your service as a Weapons Systems Officer. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day is soon. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.

The President of the United States takes Pride in presenting the Silver Star Medal (Posthumously) to Dennis Gerard Pugh, Major, U.S. Air Force, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against a hostile force during an air mission in the Republic of Vietnam. Major Pugh distinguished himself by intrepid actions on while serving with 25th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 8th Tactical Fighter Wing, 7th Air Force. His unquestionable valor in close combat is in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflects great credit upon himself, the 7th Air Force, and the United States Air Force.
