Thank you Captain Charles W. Porterfield
Although we never met personally, I want to thank you Charles W. Porterfield, for your courageous and valiant service, your years of faithfully contributing, and your most holy sacrifice given to this great country of ours!
Your Spirit is alive--and strong, therefore Sir, you shall never be forgotten, nor has your death been in vain!
It's Heroes like you, that made it possible for others like myself, to return home to lead full and free lives.
Again, thank you Captain Charles W. Porterfield, for a job well done!
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE MY MARINE FRIEND

For Chuck Porterfield
Chuck and I were roomates at Northwestern. He was such a great person.
I have so many memories of our lives at NU. He will always remain
one of the most influencial persons in my life. He visited my
wife and I before his Nam tour. He loved the Marines and serving
his country. I hope that his children and family know the great
person he was.
