THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

As I have had a full life: a beautiful wife, great children and wonderful grandchildren. I think of Michael. He gave the full sacrifice for me, us, and our country.

Dear Lcpl Michael Poletti, Thank you for your service as an ONTOS Crewman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is Memorial Day (today is Declaration Day) when our nation remembers those of you who paid the ultimate price. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

On the remembrance of your 71st birthday, your sacrifice is not forgotten.
