My lovely cousin

This man was a very, sweet, honest, loving kind person in his life was taken, but no reason because this Vietnam war, which wasn’t a war young men lost their lives, which was unfair. This man was a great person, and would’ve been a great country, which he to me is a hero and that’ll work. My memory of a fellow Marine

I believe I was with your son when he died on May 2 1968 in the village of Dai Do - although I did not know him prior to that day I still think of him often.

do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....
