A Fellow Marine Friend

Steve and I trained at Camp Pendleton together before we went to Viet Nam. We were close friends in those days. We use to take him home when we had weekend leaves. I will always remember him as a great person who was very kind and caring! I miss him! It has been 57 years since I last saw him and he is still etched in my memory and heart. I was wounded in the same year that he died as a great hero! He gave his life so bravely in the midst of horrible circumstances. I honor him!!!

My early life with Steve

Steve and I were next door neighbors and childhood friends. From age two until is death, my best friend. I will always remember Steve and his ultimate sacrifice.
I miss him dearly, and still remember all our great times together .
