A Truly Fine Person
I met Tom at Georgia State College where we both joined senior ROTC, a path that led to Viet Nam. He generously drove me to Fort MacPherson for our physicals. He was the only one in our class that joined the infantry. He was a fine person who did not take himself too seriously. The world lost someone who could have done much good. I trust that in the past 50 years that those who knew him became better people and did good things because they knew him. I honor his memory.
