I wear your bracket with pride of a man I never knew. It never comes off as a reminder of what a true American hero is . Until you come home or until I salute you at the gates you will always be remembered and never forgotten.

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

My Mother passed away June 22, 2016. I was going through her things this weekend and found a bracelet with Robert D Owens name on it. It brought back memories of the bracelet I had when I was younger. I will cherish this bracelet forever. Thank you for your service Mr. Owen.
