Thank You

Dear PFC Carlton Ottey, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

The wall

My father served in Vietnam with Carlton. I've known his name my whole life. Every time we've gone to the wall, that's the named I've etched on paper with a pencil. This is because I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Carlton. He saved my father's life, and in doing so, sacrificed his own. I will be forever grateful.
