You were never forgotten

My father Dennis Olson 101st airborne used to talk about you sometimes. You were never forgotten by my father and I just wanted to thank you for being someone special that my father was able to remember and actually have a couple good memories of a time in history which didn't have much good in it! Ty sir gone but never forgotten

honoring you...

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from Robert Friend and Christos Cotsokas are especially poignant. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....

Never To be forgotten

Daniel we never met but due to a very sat fact you have been in my life for 50 years, you were in the 101 infantry so was my brother Sp4 Richard Friend you went to nam on 12/14/1967, Rich went there on 12/13/1967, also with the 101 infantry but in different units, you both fought in a place named Thua Thien and their you both were killed, you on 3/21/1968 and Rich on 3/24 1968, Both of you came from San Diego Ca. and both of you now lie forever 3 graves apart at Fort Rosecrans. It was there that both of your mothers met and became friends, there now gone but for 50 years ever time I go to see my brother I see and think of you and your family you, my brother and the thousands of those who gave their lives ARE NOT FORGOTTEN, and never will be. PRAYS AND BEST WISHES to you and your family.
