A Good Soldier, A Better Human Being
Earl Okumura was standing eight feet to my right when he was struck by three bullets just off the main gate of the Phu Loi Combat Base. Earl was a gentle man of kind heart and quick smile. He made us poorer for his passing but richer for his sacrifice.
