1LT Emil John Naasz is buried in the Old Veteran's Circle, Space 13 of the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point, MT.

Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Lt. Naasz was my platoon leader in Vietnam Nam and great one in my opinion. He was willing to listen to those who were more experienced who served under him. He once told me that if he could earn a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart, it would be the greatest thing to ever happen to a kid from Wolf Point. He earned both, but his second Purple Heart cost him his life. Rest In Peace LT. I will always remember you.

He deserved to live longer. MT strong.. Died the month before I went into the service.

Dear Lt Emil Naasz, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy New Year. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
